We promise to always be honest about the quality of our books. We aim for the highest quality used books but sometimes they might show signs of wear. All of our of our books are categorised into one of four groups:
New: These are new books and in perfect condition
Used: Like new. These books are not new but are in very good condition with no signs of wear.
Used: Very Good. These books are still in great condition but might show some slight wear
Used: Good These books may be marked or have creases
We will never sell anything less than acceptable and quality will always be reflected in the price.
We accept credit/debit card payments through PayPal and Square
We are always honest about the quality of the books we offer. Sometimes they might come pre-loved but we will always make this clear (see the above section on 'rating the quality'). If however, you are unhappy with a product, please get in touch at simianbooks@outlook.com and we will be in contact with you as soon as we can to get the matter resolved.
Simian Books Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions
1. Validly activated gift voucher issued by Simian Books can be used as full or part payment for purchases made online at simianbooks.co.uk
2. No exchange or refunds will be given where the sales transaction is for an amount less than the balance on the gift voucher.
3. Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase gift vouchers, nor can a gift voucher (and any gift voucher balance) be exchanged for cash.
4. Simian Books reserves the right to refuse to accept any gift voucher payment where it deems that a gift voucher has been tampered with, duplicated or where it is otherwise suspected to be affected by fraud.
5. A gift voucher is for personal use only and it may not be used for commercial purposes (including but not limited to resale) without Simian Books prior written consent.
6. Gift vouchers are exempt from Simian Books Standard Returns Policy.
7. A gift voucher is not a cheque guarantee, debit or credit card.
8. A gift voucher is only valid until the expiry date on the voucher. Any balance remaining after this time will be lost.
9. Please protect your gift voucher and treat it as cash. Simian Books cannot be held liable for lost, stolen or damaged gift vouchers or any credit amounts on such gift vouchers. Simian Books reserves the right to issue another gift voucher for the unspent balance of an original gift voucher at its discretion on production of your original receipt, but Simian Books is not responsible for funds used without your knowledge.
10. Simian Books reserves the right to add to or waive these terms and conditions on reasonable notice for legal, security or regulatory reasons or to discontinue the gift voucher scheme at any time in the event of circumstances beyond its reasonable control. Customers will be notified in advance of any such change.
11. Gift vouchers may be used for payment of goods of a higher price than the current gift voucher balance, on payment of the difference.
